DM My Link ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DM My Link service, which enables Instagram creators to automate direct messages in response to comments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and through third-party integrations:
- Account information: Email address, name, when you sign up or log in.
- Instagram data: When you connect your Instagram account via Meta's official API, we receive your Instagram username, profile picture, account type, follower counts, and an access token to send DMs and manage comments on your behalf.
- Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details; Stripe processes payments and we receive billing status and subscription information.
- Usage data: How you use our service (e.g., trigger words, DM content, number of DMs sent) to provide and improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the DM My Link service
- Send automated direct messages on your Instagram account when comments match your trigger words
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Communicate with you (e.g., account updates, support)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication and database storage
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Instagram API for account connection, sending DMs, and receiving comment webhooks. Your use of our service is subject to Meta's Platform Terms and Data Use Policies.

5. Data Sharing
We share data with Meta as required to operate the Instagram integration. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with law enforcement or as required by law.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account and usage data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Instagram / Facebook data: If you connected your Instagram account via Meta's login, you can request deletion of that data by going to Facebook's Apps and Websites settings, removing DM My Link, then clicking "View Removed Apps" → "View" → "Send Request". We will delete your Instagram-related data and provide a confirmation code and status link. See our Data Deletion Request page for details and to check the status of your request.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
